# Dormants

The dormant tool portrays the same information as the [Freshies](/home/tools/eth-suite/freshies.md), but for Dormant Wallets.

## What are dormant wallets?

**Dormant wallets are wallets thave have had no activity for a period of time**.\
These wallets tend to be pretty interesting because the PNL is usually higher than your normal average wallet that buys every day or every couple of days.\
They tend to wait for the optimal play and do on average more research than their daily counterparts.\
\
It's not always like this though.\
Sometimes, because a "dormant" wallet is considered more valuable than a normal one scammers, ruggers or sketchy deployers tend to keep a list of old wallets and they use it only when necessary, because the token will appear on scanners as more "interesting" distribution wise.

As any of the other tools in the [ETH Suite](/home/tools/eth-suite.md), you need to **DYOR** while checking the data on each message.
{% endhint %}
